Our Installation Methodology

Substrate & Slope Framing

We inspect the wall top, install sloped treated blocking, and lay continuous self-adhering waterproof underlayment.

Continuous Cleat Fastening

Heavy-gauge continuous starter cleats are fastened to the exterior and interior wall faces.

Cap Section Snapping & Locking

Custom-profiled capping sections are hooked onto cleats and locked down without penetrating the top surface.

Joint Splices & Corner Seals

Internal splice plates and factory-welded or sealed mitered corners are fitted for a 100% watertight seal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Fastening with continuous cleats allows the metal to expand and contract naturally with temperature swings without buckling. It also avoids screws driven through the top horizontal surface, which are prone to washer deterioration and leaks.
